Fields in the Outfitter directory

Latitude / Longitude

The Latitude and Longitude fields in the Outfitter directory are used to display maps and satellite photos.  The default values for this fields is based on the Outfitter address.  Very often it is a business address and the map we display is centered on the business as opposed to being centered where the Outfitter hunts, fishes, or operate.

We encourage all Outfitters to adjust the Latitude / Longitude as required.  Let us know if you do not have a GPS to get the right coordinates.  We can compute the Latitude and Longitude based on distance and direction from a known location.
